All those questions are fair, and from a public health standpoint, should be asked and answered by those who are tasked to answer them – like the Centers for Disease Control.

Given the exceptional circumstances we are facing with the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, iCloudHomes,Trivandrum has put in place strong measures to prevent the spread of the virus, safeguard our operations and keep our employees safe and healthy. 

OUR EMPLOYEES: THE ENERGY THAT DRIVES US FORWARD

The health and safety of all our employees remains our number one focus and priority,that’s why we conduct medical check ups every month for our workers and we are following the guidelines from WHO, local governments and national health authorities. Our M.D Mr.Biju janardhanan said all measures have been taken to ensure that the guest workers are properly accommodated and taken care of. “Our employees are our greatest asset and the cornerstone of our business. Our core strength comes from the diverse background and experience of our staffs.  We have always kept a warm vigil in taking up the issues of guest workers. We have arranged food and medical facilities for them when the corona transmission began disrupting and the lockdown started.

More concretely:

Construction processes – iCloud Homes has always practiced professional Construction Practices with daily cleaning and strict hygiene protocols for employees and workers.  Nevertheless, we have instituted increased frequency and depth of cleaning at all our sites.  During the corona spreading at  initial stages ,We have reduced all visitor traffic to our offices and work sites, limiting this to business-critical maintenance and operations and implemented travel restrictions across all our sites.  We have also taken pro-active steps to protect all business-critical operations and teams that are needed to fulfill these. Steps taken include additional hygiene, social distancing and limiting access of employees on a need to basis throughout our sites and office during the initial stage itself. Now we closed all our sites from 22 nd march as per government directions. We are ready to re-start our works once the situation becomes normal. 

Employee Safety – Our employees have been provided with up-to-date guidelines on how to manage exposure and/or any illness including mandated or a self-imposed quarantine.  Where possible we have encouraged all non-business critical operations that can be conducted remotely to be done so.  All employees have been informed of these changes and have been encouraged to stay home if any illness or exposure is present or till the situation becomes normal. And we are really happy to announce that all our employees and staff are  doing well.

 Now more than ever, we need each other. We encourage you to engage more with your family at home. Even while social distancing, you can carefully donate much-needed blood to a blood bank, contribute to your food for the needy,read a lot and think what best value addition you could give to your family and for your business. It’s our collective effort that will help us overcome the widespread impact of COVID-19.
